Observis has appointed Mervi Ryynänen as its new CEO, effective 7 September 2026.
Ryynänen joins Observis from Digita Oy. She brings more than 25 ears of international leadership experience in business development, commercial growth and technology-driven business. The appointment supports Observis’ next phase of growth and its ambition to further strengthen its international business. The founders will continue in active roles within the company. Tommi Kainulainen, who has served as CEO since the establishment of Observis, will focus fully on expanding Observis’ business in the Middle East and Africa and will lead the local Observis MEA company. Heikki Isotalus will continue as COO and Ville Kanerva as CTO.
